Enormous amounts of batteries for laptop computers have been recalled during the last few years for risk of fire. A recall for Dell notebook battery power and Apple MacBook laptop batteries in the summertime of 2006, and then Toshiba and Lenovo came out the same issue. It is Sony who made the batteries which are recalled for the past years, whereas in the Oct 2006, this company announced its own large-scale recall. What’s the reason of the recalls? The Sony laptop battery might result in a fire because of the short circuit the heat made.

Yes it is a major bummer for laptop manufactures, it seems all these units had Sony Batteries, bummer for them too. But all this is old news to you I can see, but here is the kicker. I talked to a retired NSA guy or so he claimed at a local coffee shop in Brunswick, GA and he told me that the recall was fake and it is a trick.
